Birdwatching and wild life
As well as our farm animals we are surrounded by many species of bird and wildlife.
There is an enormous badger set next to the public footpath that runs alongside the far side of our land. The badgers can be seen at night as they go about their daily routines.
You may be lucky enough to spot the rather shy chinese water deer and muntjacs that pass through.
Our fields are abundant with Hares and you may even see them up close on the CL. They seem to be getting bolder.
Birds spotted include: Most finches and tits, fieldfares, redwings, kestrels, peregrines, hawks, buzzards, red kites (lots!), woodpeckers, tawny owls, barn owls, little owls, wagtails. The list is growing!
Early risers may get to see the barn owls hunting.
